DALLAS, March 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV) and wholly-owned subsidiary AirTran Airways spread low fares today, offering nonstop flights starting as low as $59 one-way. These incredibly low fares are available for purchase on southwest.com and airtran.com today through Thursday, March 14, 2013, 11:59 p.m. for the respective time zone of the originating city. Fares are available for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays beginning March 19 through Oct. 30, 2013 with a 10-day advance purchase required (check fare rules for restrictions). Travel must take place between March 19, 2013, and Oct. 30, 2013. Fares require a 10-day advance purchase and are available for travel on Tuesday and Wednesday. Travel not available to/from Boston, Providence, and Manchester on April 16, 2013. Service to Branson, MO, begins March 9, 2013. Service to Flint, MI; Portland, ME; Rochester, NY; Charlotte, NC; and San Juan, Puerto Rico, begins April 14, 2013. Service to Wichita, KS begins June 2, 2013. Service to Grand Rapids, MI begins August 11, 2013. Lowest advertised fare not available to/from Dayton, OH; Washington Reagan National; Newark, NJ; Philadelphia, PA; Washington-Dulles; New York LaGuardia; West Palm Beach, FL; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Ft. Myers, FL; and Seattle, WA. Seats are limited. Fares may vary by destinations, flight, and day of week and won't be available on some flights that operate during very busy travel times and holiday periods.
