DALLAS, June 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV) announced today a 72-hour fall travel super sale with one-way nonstop tickets available for $49, $99, or $139 to select destinations, based on length of travel. For travel up to 500 miles, fares are $49 one-way. For travel 501 to 1,300 miles, fares are $99 one-way. For travel 1,301 or more miles, fares are $139 one-way. These incredibly low fares are available for purchase on southwest.com today through 11:59 p.m. PST Thursday, June 14, 2012. The 14-day advance purchase fares are available for travel every day of the week except Fridays and Sundays beginning Aug. 13 through Nov. 14, 2012 (blackout dates apply). FARE RULES
Fares are available only on www.southwest.com and can be purchased today, through June 14, 2012, 11:59 pm PST. Travel must take place between Aug. 13 and Nov. 14, 2012. Travel valid every day except Fridays and Sundays. Blackout dates apply for Aug. 18, Aug. 30, Sept. 3, and Sept. 4, 2012. Fares are valid on nonstop service only, and seats are limited. Fares on connecting flights will be slightly higher due to government-imposed taxes and fees. Fares may vary by destinations, flight, and day of week and won't be available on some flights that operate during very busy travel times and holiday periods. Fares are available for one-way travel. Fares may be combined with other combinable fares. If combining with other fares, the most restrictive fare rules apply. When combining fares, all rules and restrictions apply. Fares are nonrefundable but may be applied toward the purchase of future travel on Southwest Airlines. Fares are not available through the Group Desk. Any change in the itinerary may result in an increase in fare. Standby travel requires an upgrade to the Anytime fare. Fares are subject to change until ticketed.
