The ongoing partnership of Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV) and Mexican carrier, Volaris, can create some summer getaways with convenient, connecting service from more than 55 Southwest Airlines cities to the Mexican destinations of Mexico City, Guadalajara, Cancun, Morelia, and Zacatecas. Southwest Airlines' Rapid Rewards™ Members will earn an additional 2,000 points per roundtrip to Mexico by connecting to and from a Southwest flight. Terms and Conditions: Rapid Rewards Member will receive 1,000 bonus points per qualifying one-way Southwest/Volaris flight or 2,000 bonus points per qualifying Southwest/Volaris roundtrip flight. Qualifying travel must be booked on southwest.com and include a Southwest Airlines flight connecting to a Volaris flight. Bonus points are in addition to the standard flight points earned through Rapid Rewards for the Southwest flight of the itinerary. Member must register for this promotion between June 9, 2011, and July 31, 2011, and registration must be completed prior to booking and commencement of travel. Valid on new reservations only.
