DALLAS, July 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV) and its wholly owned subsidiary AirTran Airways announced today more options for Baltimore Customers looking to get to Florida! AirTran Airways will add as many as four daily nonstop flights between Baltimore/Washington and Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood beginning Sept. 6, 2012, through the end of its published schedule on Feb. 13, 2013. The new flights will add to AirTran's existing three daily roundtrip flights between the markets.
With the September flight schedule, Southwest Airlines will operate three daily nonstop flights between Baltimore/Washington and Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood for a combined total of up to ten daily roundtrip BWI-FLL flights between the carriers.
To celebrate the additional flights, AirTran is offering fares as low as $59 one-way (including government taxes and fees) on all flights between BWI and FLL. Fares are available for travel between Sept. 6, 2012, and Dec. 18, 2012. Blackout dates apply. See fare rules below. Fare Rules
Travel must take place between Sept. 6, 2012, and Dec. 18, 2012. Blackout dates include Nov. 16, 2012, through Nov. 26, 2012. Displayed prices include all government taxes and fees (included in asterisked footnote below). A first bag may be checked for a fee of $20 each way and a second bag may be checked for a fee of $25 each way. Reservations may be made via AirTran Airways' Telephone Reservations Center for a fee of $15. Reservations may also be changed via AirTran Airways' Telephone Reservations Center for a $15 fee plus any applicable change fees and fare differences. Fares may be combined with other AirTran Airways combinable fares. If combining with other fares, the most restrictive fare's rules apply. When combining fares, all rules and restrictions apply. All fares are non-refundable and a $75 fee per person applies to any change made after purchase, plus any applicable increase in airfare. Seats are limited, subject to availability, and may not be available on all flights. Fares, routes, and schedules are subject to change without notice.
