Heather most recently served as Director for Legislative Affairs with a large lobbying and association management firm in South Carolina. In this role, Heather represented clients on issues related to government, policy, budget and regulatory affairs and was key in providing access, advocacy and advice to clients. Heather has also served in a key legislative staff role in the South Carolina House Judiciary Committee. In this role, Heather served as the liaison for constituents, lobbyists and other government agencies and was responsible for scheduling legislative hearings, analyzing legislation and working with the Speaker's office on daily news reports for the South Carolina House of Representatives. Heather has managed and coordinated press events for state leaders and clients for more than eight years.
