Southern Company third quarter earnings release moved to Nov. 5
ATLANTA, Oct. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Southern Company has changed the timing of its third quarter 2012 earnings announcement to 7:30 a.m. EST on Monday, Nov. 5.
Chairman, President and CEO Thomas A. Fanning and Chief Financial Officer Art P. Beattie will discuss earnings during a conference call for financial analysts at 11 a.m. EST that same day.
The change was made in anticipation of possible sustained disruption from Hurricane Sandy, which is expected to affect a large segment of the investor and financial analyst community when it arrives in the Northeast early this week.
