ANAHEIM, Calif., June 12, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Southern California Partnership for Jobs (SCPFJ) is the recipient of the prestigious Communicator Award for 2020. This year marks the 26th year that the awards have been handed out.
The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program recognizing big ideas in marketing and communications. Founded nearly three decades ago, The Communicator Awards receives over 6,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world. The Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, who oversees the Communicator Awards, is an invitation-only group consisting of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms.
SCPFJ was recognized with The Award of Distinction in the category of online video for their docuseries on projects funded by SB1 The Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017. The videos highlight projects which were made entirely possible by SB1 funds.

Judges for this prestigious award include Leanne Fremar – Starbucks; Jeffrey Lay – GE Digital; Kyle Thigpen – Nissan North America; Gwen Kelly – Walmart and Chris Allen of Fast Company.
Categories considered included in the judging were Audio & Podcasts, Digital, Marketing Effectiveness, Video, Design & Print, Integrated Campaign and Mobile. Each category divides winners by Award of Excellence and Award of Distinction.
