Southern California McDonald's® Restaurants Shake Up Breakfast With New Egg White Delight McMuffin®
LOS ANGELES, May 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Southern California McDonald's® restaurants are flipping the monotonous morning routine with the recent introduction of the wholesome Egg White Delight McMuffin. At 250 calories, the new breakfast offering features 100% freshly-cracked egg whites, white cheddar cheese and extra lean Canadian bacon, sandwiched between a new English muffin which packs eight grams of whole grain. And, to give customers even more reason to try the new breakfast choice, Southern California McDonald's restaurants are hosting free Egg White Delight McMuffin sampling events starting today through May 17 from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.—while supplies last. Price and participation may vary.
"The Egg McMuffin has become a staple and an iconic offering at McDonald's since its introduction 40 years ago," said Michael Mangione, Jr., McDonald's owner/operator and president of the McDonald's Operators' Association of Southern California (MOASC).
