Southeast Anesthesiology Physicians Named in Charlotte Magazine's Top Doctors

CHARLOTTE, N.C., July 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Four Southeast Anesthesiology Consultants' physicians are featured in Charlotte Magazine's 2014 "Top Doctors" ranking: Dr. Bernard Velardo, Dr. Brent Holway, Dr. Richard Pollard and Dr. Charles Veronee.

"Top Doctors" is a peer survey conducted by Charlotte Magazine and covers more than 63 specialties. It is distributed annually to 3,000 physicians with active medical licenses in Carbarrus, Gaston, Mecklenburg, and Union counties, and is based on responses to the question, "What doctor would you call if you or a loved one needed medical care?" Physicians participating in the survey are not permitted to vote for themselves and are asked to make unbiased selections regarding hospitals, clinics, or health plan affiliations.

The Southeast physicians who are among the list of 2014 Top Doctors:

• Holway is double-board certified in anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesia and has been practicing since 1995.
• Pollard is board certified in anesthesiology and fellowship trained in neurological anesthesia. He was listed in the 2013 "Top Doctors" and has been practicing since 1996.
• Velardo is double-board certified in anesthesiology and critical care. He was listed in the 2013 "Top Doctors" and has been practicing since 1990.
• Veronee is board certified in anesthesiology and fellowship trained in cardiac anesthesia has been practicing since 1991.
