South Texas Money Management (STMM) Named "Top Guns" For Investment Performance By Informa Investment Solutions
SAN ANTONIO, Dec. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- South Texas Money Management announced it was named "Top Guns" for investment performance by Informa Investment Solutions (IIS) in the peer group, PSN Global Equity, for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.
Jeanie Wyatt, CEO & Chief Investment Officer of South Texas Money Management said, "Our stock portfolios are considered 'core portfolios' because they always include large, mid, and small capitalization stocks, value and growth stocks as well as U.S. domestic stocks and foreign stocks (via ADRs). Our benchmark is the MSCI World Index and PSN has ranked us in their global equity group."
Wyatt continued, "We are very pleased with this recognition. Our investment and trading teams work hard to deliver strong results and I am happiest with our relative, lower volatility in portfolios, in addition to performance."
Jim Kee, Ph.D., President and Chief Economist added, "Our 60 employees at STMM are committed to providing our clients with not only disciplined investment processes, but excellent customer service. I am very proud of our professionals who include 8 CFA® charterholders, 5 CFP® professionals, 8 MBAs, 2 JDs, and one Ph.D."
About PSN Top Guns Ranking
The PSN universes were created using the information collected through the PSN investment manager questionnaire and use only gross of fee returns. Mutual fund and commingled fund products are not included in the universe. PSN Top Guns investment managers must claim that they are GIPS compliant. Products must have an R-Squared of 0.80 or greater relative to the style benchmark for a three year period ending September 30, 2014. Moreover, products must have an upside market capture over 100 and a downside market capture less than 100 relative to the style benchmark.
