Since 2012, the company has been producing original research on the IT, digital design and digital marketing services markets to aid buyers in their search for a service provider. With this rebrand, Clutch is reflecting a shift that has taken place in its target audience. Originally, the firm had aimed to assist IT procurement professionals. The focus has since transitioned to helping business buyers identify leaders in the services markets that deliver significant added value and thought partnership to their companies.
Founder Mike Beares explained, "As our business progressed, it became clear that business buyers, not procurement professionals, were our primary audience. A redesigned website and visual identity was concurrently unveiled by the company. The website features a simplified homepage to cater to a better user experience with clean and engaging design elements. The logo and color scheme retains some consistency with the former brand's teal-colored accents, but with a bolder, more modern look.
Clutch plans to continue its expansion into additional technology, marketing and business consulting segments.
