SourceRight Solutions Welcomes Industry Thought Leader Glen Cathey to RPO Division
Global recruiting and sourcing expert joins SourceRight to deliver unique sourcing strategies and industry insights
BOSTON, March 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- SourceRight Solutions, a Randstad company, today announced that well-known industry thought leader and recruiting and sourcing expert, Glen Cathey, has joined the organization's Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) division as its new vice president of global sourcing and talent strategy. In this role, Cathey will draw from his extensive industry experience and research to lead exciting new initiatives for SourceRight Solutions. Global recruiting and sourcing expert, Eric Jaquith, who has recently been named director of global RPO sourcing strategy, will help Cathey lead this effort.
"Glen is a strategic thinker, an accomplished business leader, and one of the industry's most influential recruiting and sourcing experts. His experience, combined with Eric's ability to maximize recruiting and operational effectiveness will no doubt deliver ground-breaking sourcing solutions to the market," said Darren Simons, senior vice president of RPO operations at SourceRight Solutions. "SourceRight Solutions is very excited about the leadership we've brought on board, and looks forward to delivering advanced sourcing solutions that will connect our customers with the talent who will propel their organizations toward success."
Cathey brings more than 15 years of recruiting and staffing experience to the company. Previously, he served as market vice president of recruiting for a billion dollar publicly traded staffing solutions firm with more than 800 recruiters, achieving more than 30,000 hires annually. There he led the company's national recruiting, sourcing and social media thought leadership and training programs. In this role, he also hired, developed and managed large local and national recruiting and delivery teams, and created training and certification programs.
A highly sought-after sourcing and recruiting authority, Cathey also authors Boolean Black Belt, a popular sourcing and recruiting blog that attracts more than 10,000 visitors per month from more than 100 countries.
Considered one of the world's leading sourcing and recruiting experts, Eric Jaquith has also recently been promoted to director of global RPO sourcing strategy for SourceRight Solutions. He will work closely with Cathey and SourceRight's RPO team to deliver innovative sourcing strategies to customers. Jaquith brings more than 17 years of progressive recruiting experience to his new role. He offers a unique brand of highly effective and efficient recruiting processes designed to deliver top-quality technology candidates quickly, producing impressive bottom-line results.
Formerly, Jaquith served as global recruiting leader for SourceRight Solutions, where he focused on global sourcing strategies for technical positions as well as the company's social media recruiting strategies. He has designed the recruiting and sourcing strategies that have enabled companies such as Google, Coca Cola, Hewlett-Packard, Lockheed Martin, IBM, Home Depot, Microsoft, BT and others to find the right talent.
Jaquith noted, "I'm looking forward to working with Glen and the RPO team to develop the strategies that allow SourceRight's customers to identify the needle in the haystack, rather than simply attract a high volume of unsuitable candidates."
"It's exciting to be working with SourceRight Solutions as the company embarks on new global sourcing initiatives," commented Cathey. "SourceRight is focused on bringing expanded value to employers, and we plan to help our clients stay on the cutting-edge of sourcing, identify new opportunities to improve efficiency and connect with top talent."
