Organization names Mark Eisenberg Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives and Jacqueline Peterson Senior Vice President, Communications
WASHINGTON, Feb. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- SoundExchange today announced the hire of Mark Eisenberg as senior vice president, Strategic Initiatives and Jacqueline Peterson as senior vice president, Communications. Both bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in the music industry to SoundExchange and will enhance SoundExchange's mission to support, protect and propel the music industry forward.

Mark Eisenberg most recently served as Global Head of Content Acquisition and Strategy for MixRadio, a mobile personalized radio service operated by Microsoft. Prior to MixRadio, Mark spent more than 15 years as the Executive Vice President and Head of Business & Legal Affairs for the Global Digital Business Group at Sony Music Entertainment. Throughout his career, Mark advised digital start-ups and established media companies in the areas of music, television and film content acquisition, distribution, data analytics and social media. In his new role at SoundExchange, Mark will identify and pursue new applications for SoundExchange's world-class distribution platform, foster relationships with existing and potential licensees, and work with record labels and recording artists to identify new ways SoundExchange can help the music community succeed. He is a graduate of New York University School of Law and earned his undergraduate degree at Brandeis University.

Prior to her work with Live Nation Entertainment, she worked as the Strategic External Communications Director for Caesars Entertainment Corporation. Jacqueline will be responsible for leading SoundExchange's internal and external communications, marketing and public relations efforts. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
