Sotera To Participate in DoDIIS 2011 Worldwide Conference

MCLEAN, Va., April 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sotera Defense Solutions (Sotera), an agile, mid-sized national security technology company that delivers solutions and services in support of the critical missions of national security agencies and programs of the U.S. government today announced that the company will participate in the Department of Defense Intelligence Information Systems (DoDIIS) Worldwide Conference hosted by the DIA Directorate for Information Management.   The conference takes place May 1-5 in Detroit, Michigan.

Coordinated around a theme of Secure and Collaborative Intelligence in Defense of the Nation, this year's conference highlights the DIA Chief Information Officer's commitment to developing and maintaining secure and reliable networks for Department of Defense personnel, services and information technology customers.

Sotera representatives will be on hand in booth 241 to discuss our significant IT and cyber security capabilities in information sharing, cyber intelligence, data fusion, watchlisting, mission assurance and intelligence analysis. The Sotera display will also showcase an unclassified version of the company's WRITE solution, a counter-IED resource developed for the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO).  WRITE helps fill the information gaps by analyzing data from disparate sources to produce actionable information useful in predicting, identifying and defeating IEDs.

The DoDIIS Worldwide Conference will attract more than 3,000 participants including 400+ exhibits from across the globe as well as expert speakers, interactive training sessions and daily networking opportunities. The conference is being held at the COBO Center in Detroit, Michigan.
