Sotera Completes the Acquisition of Software Process Technologies, Inc.

MCLEAN, Va., Sept. 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sotera Defense Solutions (Sotera), a provider of mission-critical, technology-based systems, solutions and services for national security agencies and programs of the U.S. government, today announced that the company has completed the acquisition of Software Process Technologies, Inc. (SPT).  SPT delivers a range of mission-focused, specialized software engineering capabilities to support the cyber intelligence missions of its customers.

The company expects to generate approximately $35 million in 2011 revenue and its outstanding financial performance is driven by its unique solutions focus, leading edge technical expertise and direct exposure to programs addressing the pressing cyber security mission requirements of the Intelligence Community.
