SOS Names Michael Bell President of its Consumer Division

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- SOS Online Backup, a global leader in online backup technology, today announced that Michael Bell has been named the company's President of the Consumer Division.

The Consumer Division is newly created within SOS Online Backup. As President of this division, Bell will manage its day-to-day operations. This includes all functions related to marketing and selling the SOS Online storage platform to consumers, wholesale partners, OEM partners as well as to the SMB market.

Bell is a veteran CEO and entrepreneur in the software industry.  For the past 20 years Bell has served as a senior executive and chief executive in early-stage startups through public company executive roles. Most recently Bell served as president of a leading B2B SaaS company in the logistics industry, 3PL Central. While there Bell drove rapid growth and achieved the company's first-ever operating profit.  

Prior, Bell launched Software.com from creative vision into a fast-growing operating entity, achieving break-even within its first year of operation.  Software.com contains industry-leading content and one of the largest collections of consumer software downloads.
