SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Sorenson Media today announced it ranked number 229 on Deloitte's Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies in North America. Sorenson Media grew 426 percent during this period.
Sorenson Media created the Spark platform, a next generation television advertising and analytics software suite that harnesses the potential of addressable content. The Spark platform allows personalization on the vast scope of global broadcast television, giving advertisers interactive, addressable options with second-by-second measurement; features previously only found in digital.

Deloitte Technology Fast 500 selects companies based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth over a three year period. Deloitte LLP compiles the ranking from public record research and information submitted by applicants.

Overall, 2017 Technology Fast 500™ companies achieved revenue growth ranging from 135 percent to 59,093 percent from 2013 to 2016, with median growth of 380 percent.

This growth award is the latest to recognize the accelerating adoption of Sorenson Media's Spark platform among advertisers and broadcasters. In August, Sorenson Media was ranked No. 70 on Mountain West Capital Network's Utah 100, naming them as one of the fastest growing companies in the state.
