Sorenson Capital Promotes Len Blackwell to Role of Managing Director - Portfolio Operations

SALT LAKE CITY, Oct. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Sorenson Capital today announced that it has promoted Len Blackwell to the position of managing director-portfolio operations.

Since Blackwell joined Sorenson Capital in 2006, he has been strategically involved in bolstering the operational capabilities of the firm and its diverse portfolio of companies. Blackwell's new position, newly created to leverage his unique combination of abilities, will enable him to play a more prominent role in the strategic direction and growth of Sorenson Capital as he continues his focus on the operational effectiveness of the firm's portfolio.

Prior to his experience at Sorenson Capital, Blackwell acquired two decades of productive experience that ran the gamut, from consulting to executive positions ranging from operations and general management to sales, marketing and a chief executive role. A highly respected change agent, he has led extensive change programs at companies of all types and sizes as an executive and a private consultant, and guided multiple billion-dollar companies through complex restructuring processes as a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Blackwell's unique combination of experiences have enabled him to develop deep expertise in rapid organizational transformation, encompassing profitability, working capital, cost structure, information systems, process times and customer satisfaction/allegiance. He is a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds a degree in economics from Duke University.
