Sony Creative Software Introduces New Media Production Tools at the 2015 NAB Show

Catalyst Production Suite – Media Preparation and focused, fast cutting for 4K, RAW, and HD video

This presentation of Catalyst Production Suite highlights the streamlined workflow from camera through post. Starting in Catalyst Prepare with confidence checks on set through media offload, attendees will see firsthand the tight integration into Catalyst Edit. The Catalyst team will show how to cut 4K and Sony RAW to take advantage of the amazing resolution of 4K, as well as the high dynamic range and wide color gamut of Sony RAW and XAVC formats. Guests will learn how simple multichannel audio workflow is in Catalyst Edit, and how the program's focused timeline editing tools make production much faster and easier.

Catalyst Production Suite presentations will be held on the main Sony stage on Monday, April 13, at 11:30 am; Tuesday, April 14, at 2:00 pm, and Wednesday, April 15, at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.

Audio Master Suite 2:  Fully integrated waveform and spectrum editing

This presentation explores the SpectraLayers Pro 3 workflow, and its seamless interoperability with Sound Forge Pro, creating the deepest audio editing platform available today. Attendees will learn how to gain complete control over the audio portion of their media and rescue tracks from problems that were considered insurmountable before the advent of spectral audio editing.
