Society embraces webcasting technology and streaming video to launch its first virtual event
MADISON, Wis., Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Sonic Foundry, Inc. (Nasdaq: SOFO), the recognized market leader for rich media webcasting and knowledge management, today announced that the company's Event Services group is live streaming the first annual Wisconsin Society of Association Executives (WSAE) Educational Conference, taking place this week at the Wilderness Territories, Wisconsin Dells, Wis.
The keynote address plus several breakout sessions will be webcast both live and on-demand as presenters build upon the theme, "7 Measures of Success for Associations." In addition to webcasting the sessions, attendees will be following http://twitter.com/WSAE for conference updates.
"We have a world-class lineup of speakers for our first conference, and we want to share their knowledge and expertise with as many attendees as possible -- even those watching from their desktops. Sonic Foundry Event Services took all the guesswork out of creating our first hybrid conference, allowing us to offer a virtual pass with both live and on-demand webcasts for our virtual audience. There has already been a great response from the association community," said Lynda J. Patterson, MS, CAE, executive director of WSAE.
"The WSAE conference invitation video and video streaming for the live sessions is a fantastic way to build buzz around our first educational event. As the Past President of WSAE, I'm proud to be a part of an organization that is breaking new ground for chapters of the American Society of Association Executives," Amy Bliss, CAE, Wisconsin Housing Alliance and WSAE board member. WSAE helps association professionals broaden their understanding and sharpen their organizational strategies and leadership skills by offering educational programs and resources.
