Sonic Foundry and Campus Technology Partner to Webcast Sixth Consecutive Annual Education Technology Conference
Sonic Foundry webcasts event for sixth consecutive year
MADISON, Wis., July 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sonic Foundry, Inc. (NASDAQ: SOFO), the recognized market leader for rich media webcasting, lecture capture and knowledge management, today announced that as part of its platinum level sponsorship of Campus Technology 2011, the company's Mediasite webcasting platform will be used to record several conference tracks. The conference is taking place July 25 – 28 at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston, Mass.
A number of sessions will be webcast via Mediasite and available for on-demand viewing, notably the "Conversation with the Future" sessions, which are 90-minute interactive talks about the trends that will impact higher education IT in the coming years. These sessions will be led by industry technology leaders Alfred Spector, vice president of research and special initiatives at Google, and Cameron Evans, national and chief technology officer at Microsoft Corporation, and can be accessed after the event at www.campustechnology.com/summer11 at the "conference program" tab.
