Sommelier Dana Farner joins Soutirage as Senior Wine Advisor
YOUNTVILLE, Calif., March 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Soutirage announced today that Dana Farner has joined the company as a senior wine advisor. Farner will lead a team of personal sommeliers, offering high-touch, concierge-style wine sales and services to private clients on everything from building and curating their wine collections to coordinating wine-focused events.
"We couldn't be more thrilled to welcome Dana onto the team," said Soutirage co-founder and COO, Aimee Meyer. "Her extensive wine and spirits knowledge and dedication to the highest level of client service paired with her easy conversational style make her a natural fit for Soutirage that's rare to find."
Farner was most recently the beverage director and sommelier of Wolfgang Puck's CUT Steakhouse and sidebar at the Beverly Wilshire, where she has worked since 2006. Dubbed "the indie-rock goddess sommelier" by Jonathan Gold in LA Weekly, and "one of the best around" by Bon Appetit, Dana possesses a deep passion for wine and spirits, and holds an advanced level certification at the Court of Master Sommeliers. A former actress and singer, Dana and her wife, Melissa, live in Los Angeles and enjoy hiking, camping and entertaining crowds of their actor friends.
