Industry Veteran Mark Yesayian Joins as President of Relationship Marketing Group
SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- SolutionSet, the second largest independent digital, data, direct and local marketing services company in the U.S., today announced the launch of its Relationship Marketing Group, which will be helmed by Mark Yesayian, who joins the agency as president of relationship marketing, effective immediately. Based in SolutionSet's Mill Valley, Calif., office, he reports directly to SolutionSet President and CEO Zain Raj.
The Relationship Marketing Group builds upon the agency's deep direct marketing heritage, expanding this offering to create actionable brand ideas that build customer loyalty for SolutionSet clients. The move comes as SolutionSet more closely aligns the core practices of all five groups – relationship, digital, data, retail and local marketing services – under a newly appointed leadership team that includes Yesayian, ECD Guy Bommarito, Data Group President Jack Sturn, Local Group President Steve Freedman and Digital Group President Tim Ross, to create a more comprehensive set of solutions designed to help clients drive brand action in today's marketplace.

Prior to joining SolutionSet, Yesayian managed West Coast digital operations for MEC, a WPP media agency with offices in Seattle, Los Angeles and Irvine, Calif. There he supported business relationships with Microsoft, Amgen and Paramount Pictures.
In 2004, Yesayian was recruited to OgilvyOne to open a new office and lead the Yahoo! digital business. While there, he led key new business wins for the agency, including iShares, Wells Fargo, the City of San Francisco and Sony PlayStation. Previously, he was general manager of the San Francisco office of Digitas, where he expanded the office's services from direct marketing to digital communications, serving leading clients such as Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Kinkos and Microsoft. He has also held positions at Wunderman New York and Digitas in Boston.
