Solix, Inc. Sponsors Community Mural Project in Killeen, Texas

PARSIPPANY, N.J., Nov. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- A mural honoring the history of Fort Hood and its relationship with the city of Killeen, Texas was dedicated on Veterans' Day as part of the city's festivities to recognize those who have served to defend our nation.  Solix, Inc. sponsored the creation of the mural which also marked the continuing revitalization of the city's downtown where Solix has its Texas office.

Local artists, students, veterans and residents worked together to create the mural which the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce commissioned the Civic Killeen Art Guild to paint. The 75-foot long mural is located at Avenue D and Gray Street.

"Sponsoring this mural project and having people from our Killeen office assist in painting it is a way for us to support the community."
