Solix CEO John Parry Elected to Board & COO Jack Miller Named President
PARSIPPANY, N.J., June 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Solix, Inc., a leading provider of government and commercial process outsourcing solutions that administers more than $6 billion on behalf of its clients, today announced the company's Board of Directors has elected Edward Evans, CEO of Neutral Tandem, to serve as its Chairman. Mr. Evans succeeds Wayne Thomas, former Pattersonville Telephone Company President, who had served as Solix Board Chairman since 2007. Mr. Thomas announced his retirement from the Board during its annual meeting this month. In addition, the Board elected Solix CEO John Parry to become a member by filling the position vacated by Mr. Thomas and appointed Solix COO Jack Miller to also serve as the company's president.
Mr. Evans, who had been serving as the Board's Secretary, is a veteran of the wireless industry whose background includes leading Syniverse as its chairman and CEO as well as serving in executive capacities at BellSouth Mobility, U.S. Cellular and GTE Mobilnet. He has been on the boards of the CTIA Wireless Association, Carolina West Wireless, the Network Reliability and Interoperability Council as well as the Advisory Committee to the Federal Communication Commission (FCC).
