TEMPE, Ariz., April 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Solidarity HealthShare CEO, Bradley L. Hahn, J.D., has been appointed to Benedictine College's Transform Culture in America committee serving on the subcommittee for Science and Healthcare.
The Science and Healthcare subcommittee will focus on steps the college can take to fulfill its mission as a Catholic, liberal arts college educating doctors, scientists, and healthcare professionals for the 21st century. It will also work to dispel the myth that science and faith are inherently at odds and restore the undeniable truth of the dignity of the human person. These principles should be at the center of science and healthcare professions.
"Faith, morality, and ethics are just as important in the sciences and healthcare as in every other part of our lives. They cannot and should not be separated. It's the focus of what we do at Solidarity HealthShare. That's why we believe it's critical to train future doctors and scientists the essential role of faith, morality, and ethics in the sciences," said Solidarity HealthShare CEO, Bradley, L. Hahn, J.D.
Nine subcommittees will examine the impact the college can have on culture including: Commerce and Finance with banking and business leaders; Technology with engineers and entrepreneurs; and Science and Healthcare, gathering leading doctors and scientists.
Other nationally known experts include: EWTN's Raymond Arroyo and U.S. Rep. Jeff Fortenberry.
"We have spent ten years with the goal of building one of the great Catholic colleges in America," said President Stephen D. Minnis. "Now we are asking the question: Why? What can a great Catholic college do? How can we transform culture in America?"
