Solevo Wellness™ Hosts Medical Marijuana Educational Event

Michael Backes, the author of Cannabis Pharmacy: The Practical Guide to Medical Marijuana, led a course on the medical uses of marijuana and was available for questions afterward. The course explored topics including how cannabis interacts with the body's receptors, administration approaches, and qualifying medical conditions.

Guests at the event were able to network, learn and discuss how medical marijuana is an emerging remedy for the seventeen qualifying conditions in PA.

Based on a new law called Act 16, signed by Gov. Tom Wolf on April 17, 2016, medical marijuana is protected for registered patients and their physicians. Solevo Wellness will operate three medical marijuana dispensaries in Western Pennsylvania. Their Pittsburgh dispensary is opening January 2018 and will be located at 5600 Forward Avenue, Squirrel Hill, PA 15217. Following dispensaries will be in Butler County, PA and Washington County, PA.
