Soles4Souls(R) Inc. and Shoe Carnival to Give Back to Four Cities

NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Soles4Souls Inc., the international shoe charity dedicated to giving away free footwear to those in need, in partnership with the shoe retailer Shoe Carnival, announced today that it has selected four major cities to distribute shoes back to the community during their month long collaboration.

Shoe Carnival announced last week it will partner with Soles4Souls from May 5-25 by encouraging customers to donate a dollar to the shoe charity at checkout.  The continued partnership between the national footwear retailer and the shoe charity has helped put shoes on the feet of more than 440,000 people in need since the launch of the partnership in 2008, including more than 85,000 pairs being distributed to the Tennessee Flood victims on May 10 & 11.

The selected cities are Charlotte, North Carolina on May 12 at the Thompson Children's Center, Jacksonville, Florida on May 18 at the Sulzbacher Center,  Houston, Texas on May 20 at Lakewood Church, and Chicago, Illinois on May 25 at Chicago's Pui Tak Center.  For more information about these distributions and the partnership please visit www.giveshoes.org or call 866-521-SHOE (7463)
