Solera Holdings, Inc. Announces John J. Giamatteo to Become Chief Operating Officer; Start Date April 12, 2010
SAN DIEGO, April 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Solera Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SLH), the leading global provider of software and services to the automobile insurance claims processing industry, today announced that it has hired John J. Giamatteo to become its Chief Operating Officer, effective April 12, 2010. Mr. Giamatteo, 43, has been Chief Operating Officer of RealNetworks, Inc., a leading international digital media company, since June 2008. Mr. Giamatteo joined RealNetworks in June 2005, and he has also served as RealNetworks' President, Technology Products and Solutions and International Operations and Executive Vice President, Worldwide Business Products and Services and International Operations. From 1988 to June 2005, Mr. Giamatteo was employed by Nortel Networks Corporation, a provider of communications solutions, where he held various management positions, most recently serving as President, Asia Pacific. Mr. Giamatteo holds a B.S. in Accounting and an M.B.A. from St. John's University.
