MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., March 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- MobileIron (NASDAQ:MOBL), the secure foundation for modern work, announced today that Sohail Parekh has been appointed Senior Vice President of Engineering. He will report to CEO Simon Biddiscombe.

Sohail Parekh brings more than 20 years of experience leading diverse engineering teams to conceptualize, build, and deliver business-critical products and services. Sohail previously served as Executive Vice President of Engineering at CloudPassage, a leading cloud workload protection platform. Prior to joining CloudPassage, Sohail was Executive Vice President of Engineering at Infoblox, where he was a key member of the senior executive team that drove the company's successful IPO. At Infoblox, Sohail led a global team of more than 300 engineers. He and his team delivered numerous innovative security, analytics, and networking software products that helped Infoblox become a market leader in the core network services category. Prior to Infoblox, Sohail was Vice President of Engineering at Vernier Networks, Inc., a network identity management and access control products company. Sohail co-founded and served as Vice President of Engineering at Syndeo Corp., a communication software company. He has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston.
