The new CFO comes aboard to gear up for global early stage investments
SEOUL, South Korea, Jan. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- SoftBank Ventures Asia, the early-stage investment vehicle of the SoftBank Group, has hired a chief financial officer.
Seung Lee, the new CFO, will be responsible for the management of the global funds and the limited partners of SoftBank Ventures Asia. He will also oversee the financial initiatives of global offices including Beijing, Singapore, and Silicon Valley.
Seung Lee comes aboard with extensive experience of advising on mergers and acquisitions and raising capital for major corporates for more than 15 years at Morgan Stanley Hong Kong and Seoul office. He had also started a startup prior to joining SoftBank Ventures Asia. He completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University and his master's degree at Stanford University.
