Sodexo-Managed Mess Hall Earns Second Consecutive Top Prize in Annual W.P.T. Hill Memorial Awards for Foodservice Excellence

The W.P.T. Hill Memorial Award, established in 1971, is an annual Marine Corps-wide competition with trophies and certificates of achievement awarded to USMC installations around the globe exhibiting foodservice excellence. Competitors are judged on areas such as operations, sanitation, taste and quality of food.

"I am tremendously proud of the Mess Hall 227 team for earning the W.P.T. Hill Memorial Award again this year, but I also want to recognize the Sodexo teams at the other 46 USMC mess halls we serve nationwide for their continued dedication to improving Quality of Life for our brave servicemen and women."

Sodexo received the W.P.T. Hill Memorial Award at the Military Foodservice Awards Dinner on Friday, May 18, 2018 in Chicago, Ill., an event sponsored and organized by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.
