SOCMA Unveils New ChemStewards® Optimization Website
All ChemStewards and EHS&S documents now located in centralized, web-based repository
WASHINGTON, Oct. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA) has unveiled its new ChemStewards® Optimization website, a unique and easy-to-use resource available only for SOCMA members to help them save time and money by having all ChemStewards and related EHS&S documents in a centralized, web-based repository.
"ChemStewards is a dynamic program, constantly moving forward and searching for ways to better meet the unique needs of specialty chemical manufacturers," said Dr. J. Holland Jordan, Managing Director of ChemStewards. "This new website, which will make the ChemStewards management process much more efficient for our members, is a prime example of the enhancements we are making to the program."
Through the ChemStewards Optimization website, more stakeholders can be involved in the ChemStewards process, Jordan said. "Our members have the option to share more EHS&S information with employees and auditors, which will lower their costs and ensure more efficient dissemination of vital EHS&S information," he said.
All ChemStewards historical data is included on the website, and data entry and ease of use will increase productivity for those responsible for managing this important EHS&S function, Jordan said.
Members can easily learn to navigate the new website through a Quick Start Guide and complete User Guide located under the Help menu. ChemStewards will soon offer a training session to walk members through the website, and a video will be published to the site to assist users with common and frequent site tasks.
The new website can be viewed here.
