SOCMA Re-Elects Officers and Executive Committee, Names New Board of Governors Class
WASHINGTON, Dec. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA) Board of Governors re-elected officers and its executive committee, as well as named five new members to the Class of 2019, at the association's 95th Annual Business Meeting Monday in New York City.
Charles "Chuck" Bennett, Vice Chairman of Dixie Chemical, who was re-elected as Chairman of the Board, welcomed the new members. "We have an outstanding group of individuals coming in this year," said Bennett. "I look forward to working with them and drawing from their expertise as we continue to build our membership and provide programs and services that will help our specialty chemical manufacturers not only navigate legislative and regulatory policies that impact their businesses, but also assist them as they compete in a global market and build outstanding environmental, health, safety and security programs at their facilities."
