SOCMA Names Jennifer L. Abril President and CEO of Association
WASHINGTON, Oct. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA) Board of Governors announced today that Jennifer L. Abril, former President of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA), has been named President and CEO of the association.
Abril has a bachelor's degree in International Service from The American University and a master's degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland. Prior to her time with IFRA, she worked for two years at SOCMA and seven years at the American Chemistry Council. She will begin her new role at SOCMA on Monday, October 24.
