SOCMA Announces 91st Annual Dinner in New York City
Association Recognizes Members' Performance Excellence at Year-End Event
WASHINGTON, Nov. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA), a trade association representing batch, custom and specialty chemical manufacturers, is pleased to announce its 91st Annual Dinner will be held December 10, 2012, at the New York Marriott Marquis Times Square.
The Annual Dinner is a time-honored tradition attended by hundreds of the chemical industry's top executives and their customers. The event will feature a reception and awards ceremony for winners of SOCMA's Performance Improvement Awards and Sustainability Award. The awards honor the achievements of ChemStewards® participants in environmental, health, safety and security measures, as well as educational outreach and sustainable practices.
The evening's festivities include entertainment by Craig Karges, an award-winning entertainer who combines magic with the science of psychology and the power of intuition to create the impression that nothing is impossible.
The following day, SOCMA will host a special breakfast session with Peter J. Tanous, President of Lepercq Lynx Investment Advisory, LLC.
