SOCMA Announces 91st Annual Dinner in New York City

Association Recognizes Members' Performance Excellence at Year-End Event

WASHINGTON, Nov. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA), a trade association representing batch, custom and specialty chemical manufacturers, is pleased to announce its 91^st Annual Dinner will be held December 10, 2012, at the New York Marriott Marquis Times Square.

The Annual Dinner is a time-honored tradition attended by hundreds of the chemical industry's top executives and their customers. The event will feature a reception and awards ceremony for winners of SOCMA's Performance Improvement Awards and Sustainability Award. The awards honor the achievements of ChemStewards® participants in environmental, health, safety and security measures, as well as educational outreach and sustainable practices. 

The evening's festivities include entertainment by Craig Karges, an award-winning entertainer who combines magic with the science of psychology and the power of intuition to create the impression that nothing is impossible.

The following day, SOCMA will host a special breakfast session with Peter J. Tanous, President of Lepercq Lynx Investment Advisory, LLC.
