LOS ANGELES, Dec. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- This week, SoCal Connected continues its exclusive investigation into the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA), with additional details of expenditures by individuals at the agency, from $2,000 dinners to $100,000 on "employee incentives." - Former California Inspector General Laura Chick criticized the current City Controller Wendy Grueul on moving so slowly on her audit of HACLA.
- A memo from agency boss Ken Simmons claiming that expensive spending and agency social functions had already stopped.
- Requests for HACLA Chief Simmons to testify before a City Council committee.
