Sobieski Vodka Introduces Karamel, Raspberry and Orange to Their Growing Portfolio
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Sobieski vodka, the undisputed number one selling premium vodka in Poland, is proud to unveil three new flavors: Sobieski Orange, Sobieski Karamel and Sobieski Raspberry. Imported and marketed by Imperial Brands, Sobieski will be expanding its offerings with these new and exciting flavors.
Sobieski Orange, Karamel and Raspberry are naturally flavored, and made, like other Sobieski flavors, with the finest Dankowski Rye. Exuding an invigorating aroma, Sobieski Karamel has a sweet, milky tone and irresistible taste, and has been paired with cream liqueurs or with coffee. The Raspberry from Sobieski gives the senses a fresh awakening. In fact, one evaluator noted that the vodka and the real fruit complement each other perfectly and that it "smells more like raspberries than raspberries do." Sobieski Orange has the blend of the fruit's sweet and sour tang and leaves the palate with an intense yet clean finish and accompanying refreshing citrus scent.
"With great success resulting from introducing Cytron and Vanilia last year, we are diving deeper into the flavors market, and anticipate very positive results from the launch of these both popular and novel flavors," says Timo Sutinen, VP Marketing & Business Development, Imperial Brands, Inc. "We'd put our Raspberry and our Orange up against any of our competitors in a taste competition. Karamel is a very unique flavor that not many brands have experimented with, and we are proud to add it to the Sobieski collection."
Sobieski Orange, Sobieski Karamel and Sobieski Raspberry vodkas are available nationwide at the suggested retail price of $10.99 (750ml), and join the already popular Sobieski Cytron and Sobieski Vanilia.
ABOUT SOBIESKI VODKA
Sobieski vodka, the #1 premium vodka in Poland and one of the world's bestselling and fastest growing vodka brands, makes no compromises on quality and exemplifies the height of Polish craftsmanship and authenticity. Building on a noble heritage, Sobieski vodka is produced exclusively from the revered Dankowski rye at the Starogard Gdanski distillery dating back to 1846.
Sobieski vodka's current campaign focuses on the "Truth in Vodka," and declares that consumers don't have to pay a king's ransom to get superb vodka. Sobieski's back-to-basics approach to marketing, which focuses on what goes in the bottle—tradition, heritage, authenticity and taste—is in marked contrast to competitors who rely on lavish packaging and gimmicky ad campaigns that have resulted in a deluge of overpriced vodkas.
Sobieski was awarded both a Gold Medal as well as a score of 95 out of a possible 100 by the Beverage Testing Institute (BTI), and was recognized as a "Hot Brand" by IMPACT magazine in 2009. This marks the second year in a row the brand has been awarded this prestigious accolade.
