Snoopy And Knott's Berry Farm Support Special Education Through Coaster Run
BUENA PARK, Calif., Feb. 18, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- 5,000 people are expected to attend Coaster Run which supports special education at Speech and Language Development Center (SLDC). The race, celebrating its 10th anniversary is at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Knott's Berry Farm. The Coaster Run features a 10k run, a 5k run/walk, and a 1k Kids Camp Snoopy Fun Run/Walk. Fundraisers who raise $100 or more for the cause, or register as a VIP ($150) get a free entry to Knott's Berry Farm. Proceeds support education and therapy for children, the majority of whom have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Roger, our top fundraiser and a parent of one of our preschool students said, "My wife and I know that every day we drop our son off at SLDC, he is getting the best care available. Of course we wanted to raise money to help such a place."
To participate as a fundraiser or register as a VIP go to: www.sldc.net. To run without fundraising go to: www.coasterrun.com. The event will sell out soon so those who are interested should register now. Virtual racing is also available this year.
