OAKLAND, Calif., Oct. 23, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Snagajob, the nation's largest marketplace for hourly work, today announced two recent additions to the company's senior leadership team, Daama Sheepo and Neil Rongstad, both based in the company's Oakland, CA office. Sheepo and Rongstad join an already impressive leadership team, furthering the company's commitment to improve the lives of hourly workers and drive the #1 marketplace for hourly work.
"I am delighted to welcome these two phenomenal individuals to Snagajob," said Jocelyn Mangan, COO of Snagajob. "Through their leadership, the company will continue to accelerate its pace of technology innovation that powers the leading platform for hourly work. By tapping into Daama's extensive experience building two-sided markets at scale and Neil's experience building the world's largest talent network, we have a tremendous opportunity to advance our product and marketing plans, empowering even better connections between workers and employers."
Sheepo, the new Vice President of Engineering, comes with 20 years of experience in coding and software engineering management. He spent the last seven years at Open Table, where he led the engineering team. He helped develop cutting-edge software for restaurants' table management systems and enforced engineering principles like test driven development and continuous integration using innovative technologies like Mesos, Docker, AngularJS and React.
