BALTIMORE, Oct. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Smyth Jewelers, the largest jewelry retailer on the East Coast, and Uneek Fine Jewelry have taken the engagement ring to a whole new level of big. How big is big, you ask? The ring stands 17 feet tall and measures 14 feet wide. The world's largest engagement ring will have a permanent home outside of Smyth's Timonium, MD showroom.

Smyth Jewelers, the largest jewelry retailer on the East Coast, and Uneek Fine Jewelry have taken the engagement ring to a whole new level of big.

Baltimore-based advertising agency TBC, Inc., agency of record for Smyth Jewelers, worked with Smyth to concept, design and build the world's largest engagement ring. "Smyth has been around for more than 100 years; they are engagement experts," said TBC Chairman and Chief Creative Officer Allan Charles. "The ring will be a place for people to celebrate their love."

The ring is modeled after a Uneek Jewelry design and took over a year to fabricate and install. It was officially unveiled to the public on October 15, 2015 at Smyth's 2020 York Road location in Timonium, MD. After the official unveiling, Smyth and Uneek invite all those who believe in the power of love to visit the ring, take photos and maybe even pop the question.
