Smithfield Foods Promotes Keira L. Lombardo to V. P. of Investor Relations, Communications
SMITHFIELD, Va., June 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Smithfield Foods, Inc., has announced the promotion of Keira L. Lombardo to the position of vice president of investor relations and corporate communications. Lombardo most recently served as director of investor relations and corporate communications for the company.

Lombardo joined Smithfield Foods in 2002 and has worked in several capacities for the company in corporate finance, investor relations and corporate communications.
A resident of Middletown, N.J., Lombardo earned a bachelor of science degree in finance (Rutgers Business School) and a bachelor of arts degree in economics (Newark College of Arts and Sciences) from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
