RIVERSIDE, Calif., Jan. 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Smith Law Offices, LLP – a trial and litigation law firm specializing in public sector, labor and employment, regulatory, healthcare and business litigation – is excited to announce Attorney Shmuel A. Steinberg is set to join the Riverside, Calif. law firm at the beginning of February.

At Smith Law Offices, LLP, Steinberg's practice will be focused on public entity and civil defense litigation. Formerly a claims adjuster at a third-party administrator for insurance companies, he handled all aspects of claims, and monitored and directed defense counsel in ongoing litigated matters. Prior to that position, Steinberg was an attorney who defended contractors in construction defect cases, and has also handled motor vehicle accident litigation at an insurance defense firm.

Steinberg graduated magna cum laude from Western State University College of Law. There he received Witkin Awards for Business Associations, Civil Procedure, Contracts, Criminal Procedure, Evidence, and Professional Skills. He was also the tech editor for Law Review and participated in four Moot Court competitions – including Western State, Pepperdine University and Seton Hall University – as writer and oralist for every competition. Steinberg's professional associations include the Riverside County Bar Association.
