Smith & Nephew Awarded Patient Cleansing and Skin Care Contract with Premier
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., April 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Premier Purchasing Partners, LP, a leading healthcare purchasing network, has awarded a contract for patient cleansing and skin care products to the Advanced Wound Management Division of Smith & Nephew, Inc., a subsidiary of Smith & Nephew plc (LSE: SN; NYSE: SNN). Premier serves more than 2,300 U.S. hospitals and 64,000 other healthcare sites. The three-year contract begins on June 1, 2010.
This is the second consecutive contract between Premier and Smith & Nephew for Skin Care. The current contract covers the SECURA™, REMOVE™, UNISOLVE™, UNICARE™, SKIN PREP™ and NO STING™ SKIN PREP products. In addition to Skin Care, Smith & Nephew now has contracts with Premier for its NPWT, Advanced Wound Care, and Silver products.
