NEW YORK, Oct. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Smile Train, the world's largest cleft charity organization, today announced Dr. Larry Hollier as the new Chairman of the Smile Train Medical Advisory Board.

Dr. Hollier is the Chief of Plastic Surgery Service at Texas Children's Hospital. He is also a professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery and program director for the plastic surgery residency program at Baylor College of Medicine. A board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Hollier specializes in pediatric craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, facial fractures, cranial vault remodeling and midfacial and mandibular distraction.

Dr. Hollier earned his medical degree from Tulane University and completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at New York University Medical Center.
