The Forrester report looks at the Cross-Channel Campaign Management (CCCM) market and highlights the capabilities of its top vendors. In the evaluation, SmartFocus was cited as a Strong Performer within a field of 15 top providers.
The Message Cloud coordinates contextual customer experiences from one asset canvas delivered in real-time to any channel a customer is interacting in, or in their preferred channel at the right time. These channels are email, in-store, ecommerce, retargeting display, social and mobile. SmartFocus received the highest scores possible for cross-channel identity resolution, real-time analytics, content management, user experience and distributed marketing.
Report author and Forrester analyst, Rusty Warner, wrote: "In the age of the customer, B2C marketers must assemble marketing technology ecosystems that drive contextually relevant customer experiences. It's no longer good enough to simply send a one-off message or deliver inconsistent content: today's campaigns must spark continuous cycles of interaction that build a foundation for long-term loyalty and engagement. [However], transforming traditional CCCM environments for real-time customer context is a challenge for B2C marketers, and they want solutions that facilitate greater customer understanding and more consistent cross-channel interactions.
"The Message Cloud enables brand marketers - especially in the retail, consumer goods, and hospitality sectors - to reach customers with relevant content via email, mobile, web, ecommerce, and social media. Both its channel capabilities and advanced analytics make SmartFocus a competitive digital marketing alternative to larger CCCM vendors. It further provides innovative proximity marketing technologies.
"Customer references gave SmartFocus high marks for its UX and its abilities to manage content and channel delivery effectively … SmartFocus was the only vendor in this study with a perfect reference score for out-of-box integration. One reference credited SmartFocus with 'the most integrated decision-making and campaign automation' of the vendors considered for her firm's project."
Rob Mullen, CEO at SmartFocus, said: "We are absolutely delighted to have been cited as a Strong Performer in Forrester's latest Cross-Channel Campaign Management report. To see a key industry analyst affirm, in our view, the market's shift from omnichannel marketing to marketing driven by customer data integration, advanced analytics and real-time interactions with individual customers is hugely encouraging.
