SmartDrive Systems, Inc. Files Counterclaim Lawsuit Against DriveCam, Inc.
SAN DIEGO, June 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- SmartDrive Systems, Inc. today announced that it has filed counterclaims seeking declarations from the federal court in the Southern District of California in San Diego that three DriveCam patents are invalid and not infringed by SmartDrive. In the counterclaims, filed in federal court in San Diego on Thursday May 26, 2011, SmartDrive alleges that U.S. Patents 6,389,340; 7,659,827; and 7,804,426 are invalid and not infringed by SmartDrive.
