SmartAction Wins Gold Stevie® Award in 2014 Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service(SM)
LAS VEGAS, Feb. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SmartAction was presented with a Gold Stevie® Award in the "IVR Solution – New Version" category at the eighth annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.
The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world's top contact center awards, sales awards, and customer service awards. The Stevie Awards organizes several of the world's leading business awards shows including the prestigious American Business AwardsSM and International Business AwardsSM.
The awards were presented to honorees during a gala banquet on Friday, February 21 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. More than 400 nominated customer service and sales executives from the U.S.A. and several other countries attended.
SmartAction's CEO, Tom Lewis, accepted the Gold award in the category for IVR or Web Service Solution – New Version. The winning product, IVA: Intelligent Voice Automation, is the next generation of IVRs. IVA is a new version of their product that launched in 2013, which uses artificial intelligence to automate customer service through self-service engagement. Using IVA, businesses handle calls from start to finish performing complex interactions without the need for a live agent.

The average of their scores were used to determine award finalists.
