Smart Technology Booming In Electronics and Appliances Industries at 121st Canton Fair
GUANGZHOU, China, April 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The 121st China Import and Export Fair(Canton Fair) has exhibited an array of new electronics and home appliances products from April 15 to 19 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, seeing boom of smart technology in the industry with 2,500 of the world's top electronics and appliance manufacturers presenting their latest technologies and products.

Current outlook of the home appliance industry
The electronics and appliance industry has seen significant growth in the smart technology sectors, said global leading analysts GfK at Canton Fair's China Home Appliances and Electronics Summit.
According to Peter Goldman, vice president of Global Key Accounts, Home Appliance, GfK, the market for smart appliances has more than doubled in the last 12 months.
"Approximately 30 percent growth of the global SDA (small domestic appliance) market is driven by innovation and smart appliances," said Goldman.
Integrated smart home appliances enable a household "ecosystem"
At the fair, home appliance giants demonstrated their latest smart technology products to offer customers a more convenient lifestyle.
- Haier debuted the world's first family of smart products composed of a whole set of interactive home appliances, highlighted by the world's first voice-controlled intelligent shower system.
- Midea's "smart eye" system combines leading smart home technologies, including motion capture and control, voice control, automatic detection with big data.
- Changhong brought the world's first AI Center, the company's AI smart platform that is centered on a television that can connect with a smart refrigerator, air conditioner, air purifier, sound system, lighting, curtains and security equipment through accurate and intelligent voice control, TV display and induction.
Versatility leads to product differentiation
Galanz, an electronic home appliance manufacturer, brought several upgraded microwaves that combine steaming and baking functions to the Canton Fair.
