2014 a Year of Firsts

Key to this effort was the introduction of the company's first new product in 20 years, SMA Ascern™, which is an adaptive real-time monitoring, trending, forecasting and analytics tool. Introduced initially to U.S. financial institutions, Taylor said that the company will emphasize the introduction of Ascern across the company's entire customer base in 2015.
The company also saw significant success in 2014 with OpCon™, its flagship enterprise automation solution. According to Taylor, for the fourth consecutive year, the company added more than 60 new OpCon customers. This in turn led to the fourth consecutive year of growth in excess of 12 percent – a company record.
The company enjoyed considerable success in 2014 in the European IBM i market, especially in the insurance, investment, and fashion industries. SMA Solutions will place major focus in 2015 on repeating that success in the U.S. IBM i marketplace.
